<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet material feeding device capable of reliably separating and feeding also a sheet material such as an OHP sheet without forming a friction member by a special material and without performing surface treatment, and in which separating and feeding performance for the sheet material such as a normal paper sheet is not deteriorated. SOLUTION: A friction member is divided into plural parts by diagonally forming cutouts C on the surface of a friction pad 44 to be brought in slide- contact with a sheet material S at the specified angle in relation to the feeding direction of the sheet material. Respective divided parts fall in conveying of the sheet material having high adhesion, a clearance is formed between the friction pad 44 and the sheet material S, frictional force is decreased, returning force overcomes conveying force of a feed roller 43, and the sheet material S is not delivered. Since respective divided parts does not fall in conveying of the sheet material having the low adhesion, a clearance is not formed, and the sheet materials can be reliably separated by the sufficient frictional force as in the past. Moreover, stable separating conveyance can be performed without catching even if there are burrs on the tip of the sheet.</p> |
