POLYETHYLENE RESIN COMPOSITION AND FILM PRODUCED BY USING THE COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film having high film strength, moderate slipperiness and excellent low-temperature heat-sealability and giving a bag having excellent openability and provide a polyethylene resin composition for forming the film. SOLUTION: The objective polyethylene resin composition is composed of (A) an ethylene/α-olefin copolymer having a density of 0.86-0.96g/cm<3> and satisfying the following conditions (a) to (c) and (B) 100-1,500ppm of an alkylenebis- saturated higher fatty acid amide. (a) The polyethylene resin composition is produced by copolymerizing ethylene and a 3-20Cα-olefin in the presence of a catalyst containing a transition metal compound of the group IV of the periodic table and including a ligand having a cyclopentadienyl skeleton, (b) the molecular weight distribution (Mw/Mn) is 1.5-5.0 and (c) the compositional distribution parameter is 1.01-1.2.
