PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To separate a waste material concurrently with the laser beam machining of a metallic pipe. SOLUTION: A core material 3 for removing the dross of a molten metal residue generated at a melting process is inserted in the internal space of a metallic pipe 2, and the metallic pipe 2 is rotated. At the same time, a laser beam 12 is irradiated from the external side of the metallic pipe 2, so as to be in line with the outline of an endoscope adjusting ring 1a, with the metallic pipe 2 kept in a reciprocating motion along an axial center direction, thereby melting the metallic pipe 2. Regarding this method to manufacture the endoscope adjusting ring 1a, the irradiation of the laser beam 12 is kept drawing a locus for melting the metallic pipe 2, so as not to generate the annular shape of the waste material parts 19a and 19b of the metallic pipe 2. |
