PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner recovering device capable of making capacity to recover toner greater and the setting and removing of a toner recovering container easy and further, recovering the toner at an averaged level with an efficient capacity, at a low cost. SOLUTION: An elevating/lowering barrel 31 is provided to be movable up and down, in a barrel 27 in which the toner recovered from a cleaning device runs down and a circular container receiving base 34 is provided on the lower side of the elevating/lowering barrel 31, to be turnable around a supporting shaft P on the extended axis R of the elevating/lowering barrel 31. On the other hand, the toner recovering container 36 is constituted of a circular container main body 37 placed on the container receiving base 34 and a cover 38 being relatively rotatable with respect to the main body 37. The cover 38 is provided with a through-opening (b) for the barrel 31 and a polarizing plate 39 for polarizing the toner after dropping from the barrel 31 toward one side in the tuning direction of the receiving base 34. |
