PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain printing waiting time to the minimum, and improve printing efficiency as the whole composite machine by making a function starting printing processing later printable when a prefed paper sheet is put in a condition of remaining in the same position jut before a printing unit in a digital composite machine having a copy function, a facsimile function and a printer function. SOLUTION: When prefeeding indication is given from either controller, a paper sheet stops by being carried up to a place of a registering point 23. When preparation of printing image data by the controller giving the indication is completed, a carry of the paper sheet is resumed, and printing is performed. In this case, for example, when a facsimile demands printing in a printing waiting condition to a prefed paper sheet, that is, when the image data is prepared, received facsimile data is thawed, and when the size of a paper sheet necessary for printing is confirmed, the sheet of its size is prefed, and its printing is preceded. |
