Combustion chamber of coal-dust burner, with indented-built beams

The indented-built beams (3) are fixed to the walls (2) of the combustion chamber (1) into which they protrude in order to improve the swirl of the coal dust blown into the boiler furnace. The wall of the combustion chamber contains an inwardly widening groove (6) into which fits the strip-shaped protuberance (5) of the indented-built beam. The protuberance widens out towards the bottom (7) of the groove. The width (B1) of the groove is greater than the width (B2) of the protruding strip, so that a grooved space is formed on the side facing the burner filled by a hardenable material (14) especially fireproof air-placed concrete. A heat-resistant material, especially ceramic fibre matting, is positioned on the bottom of the groove.
