Measuring apparatus with pressure sensor in protected sleeve

The pressure sensor (2) is fitted in a protective sleeve (3) with a threaded union (4). The sensor is supported in the protective sleeve so that it floats and the union acts as a bearing cover (8) enclosing the sleeve. The floating bearing (5) can have radial or axial damping of the sleeve with the bearing cover supporting the nipple (9) and the damping provided by elastomer washers (6,7). The washers can be supported on the cylindrical surfaces (14,15) of a cylindrical housing (18) and of a connection nipple (9) as well as annular surfaces of the housing and nipple.
