PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a dielectric porcelain compsn. capable of firing at a low temp. below a specified temp. and fit for a dielectric resonance element having a high dielectric constant, a high no-load Q value and a low temp. variation of resonance frequency and used in a microwave region. SOLUTION: This compsn. is based on a compsn. represented by the chemical formula xBaO-yTiO2 -zNd2 O3 [where (x), (y) and (z) show mol fraction, 0.10<=x<=0.30, 0.60<=y<=0.85, 0.10<=z<=0.30 and x+y+z=1.0] and contains B2 O3 and V2 O5 as subsidiary components in the base compsn. by 0.01-5wt.% and 0.01-10wt.% of the amt. of the base compsn., respectively, or further contains PbO and/or Bi2 O3 by 0.05-5wt.% and 0.01-10wt.% of the amt. of the base compsn., respectively. |
