摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To prevent the mixture from being excessively rich so as to aim at enhancing the stability of idle operation, by compensating the amount of fuel injection to decrease the latter when the tip-in condition of a vehicle is detected. CONSTITUTION:A fuel injection amount calculating means M3 calculates the amount of fuel injection in accordance with a signal indicating an intake-air amount detected by an air flowmeter M2 disposed in an engine M1. A tip-in detecting means M4 determines a tip-in condition when the speed of a vehicle is within a predetermine range for a period until a predetermined time elapses after a throttle valve is changed over, for example, from its full close position into its open position, and therefore, a decreasing amount compensating means M5 compensates the amount of fuel injection so as to decrease the latter. With this arrangement, it is possible to prevent the mixture from being excessively rich in the tip-in condition due to the inertia of the air flowmeter, thereby it is possible to enhance the stability of idle operation.</p>
