The circuit has a water duct (26) and a heat exchanger (12) connected to a heater. The duct has a slide valve housing (36) with a slide connected to a shaft (64). The adjuster has two mechanically connected controls (30,32). The first control (30), in dependence of the temperature of the service water fed to the heat exchanger, works on the adjuster slide (28). The second control is adjustable between the first control and the adjuster slide in dependence on the service water amount passed by the adjuster slide.
