<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To speedily and high-definitely remove aliasing even at the time of approximating and plotting a complicated object by means of many polygons, in addition to the aliasing of the edge of a single polygon. SOLUTION: Information Cin on the coordinates of the positions (X, Y and Z) of pixels, colors (R, G and B) and whether or not the center of pixel exists inside of the polygon and a shared areaαof the polygon and a pixel are outputted from a pixel generator 10 to a Z-buffer comparing part 11. Then when information Cin is '1', namely when the center of the pixel is inside the polygon, the Z-buffer comparing part 11 compares the Z-coordinate and Z in a Z-buffer with each other. The pixel outputted from the Z-buffer comparing part 11 has its luminance adjusted by a pixel plotting device 13, which after then plots the pixel in a memory for pixel plotting 14.</p> |
