PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accelerate an editing speed by specifying whether to prefer format information on the display of graphic data or that on the print of graphic data so as to attain effective use corresponding to a purpose. SOLUTION: A graphic selective picture is displayed to select desired graphic data. Thereby graphic data stored in FD 8 and ROM 2 is read in and the name of a title and a pattern is displayed in a wrindow to select desired graphic data. At the time of displaying inputted graphic data by coexisting with document data, the output mode of graphic data is set by means of a mode setting picture in advance by specifying whether to prefer a display output form or a print output form. Set mode information is stored in RAM 3. Selected graphic data is read in RAM 3 and according to a mode set read in advance, the longitudinal and lateral sizes of input data is obtained to display the area of the graphic by a color code, etc., in a character area on the picture. |
