PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the above composition having good plating characteristics and excellent electrical characteristics and useful as electrical parts, etc., espe cially used in high frequency band by blending a thermoplastic resin with quartz glass as an inorganic filler. SOLUTION: This composition is obtained by blending (A) a thermoplastic resin (e.g., polyether imide) with (B) quartz glass, preferably having <=10 aspect ratio and 0.001-100μm average particle diameter as an inorganic filler. Furthermore, the composition has preferably <=4.0 dielectric constant in 100kHz, to 300GHz high frequency band and <=0.01 dielectric loss tangent and contains 40-90wt.% component A and 10-60wt.% component B.
