Blown lay-flat tubing wavy thickness variation redistribution unit

The device is used during the continuous laying of blown, lay-flat sheet tubing, for redistributing wavy thickness irregularities along the manufacturing direction of a sheet, over the width. On the tubing axis there is a reversing, rotating table, with a guide roller running parallel to the draw-off roller. A turning rod is angled to the approach of the lay-flat tubing. The turned band is received by a guide section comprising guide rollers parallel to the axis of the table. A further, stationary turning rod directs the tubular sheet band to the winding unit. The turning rods (6, 6') comprise two spaced, parallel running sections. A support device is provided for the layflat tubing (1). This comprises a recirculating transport belt (10, 10'). It passes round a part of the circumference of guide roller(s) (4, 4', 5, 5') and a steering roller (7, 7', 8, 8'). The running direction of the strand in both forward and reverse runs, is altered through 90 deg by a section of the turning rod (6, 6').
