The central tunnel (2) extends from the end wall to the rear transverse bearer. It consists of upper and lower sheet shells (4,5), basically of U=shape and also having steps or similar running radially towards the longitudinal axis of the tunnel. The steps are so formed that in the fixed state of the shells against each other, longitudinal hollow profiles with cavities (6,7,8) are formed through the attachment points (9,10,11). The end (15) of the tunnel which is open at the bottom is closed off by at least one transverse bearer (14).
