<p>The invention relates to an authorisation device comprising a carrier having therein a data storage means (4) and a communication means (6) adapted to communicate with a corresponding communication means (8) in a separate data reader (10), so that data stored in said data storage means (4) can be transmitted to said data reader (10). The authorisation device includes attachment means (17) whereby the device may be attached to a user, and the device has an additional purpose other than serving as an authorisation means.
