PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce an organic fertilizer in the odorless state from organic waste such as domestic animal dunk without using a chemical substance. SOLUTION: In a method for producing the organic fertilizer by subjecting the organic waste such as domestic animal dung of cow dung, pig dung and fowl droppings, excessive sludge and grounds on the food processing and animal and vegetable residual dross to fermentation treatment, the organic waste is retained at a temperature of the order of 20°C-30°C via a laminar drainboard, further, the heat-retained organic waste is stirred and fermented and the fertilizer is produced. In this production method for the organic fertilizer such as domestic animal dung, a fermentation material such as wood chips, bean-curd refuse, rice bran and coffee grounds is mixed into the heat-retained organic waste and is stirred and a fermented fertilizer is produced.
