PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To finely transmit and receive only pictures or only sound when a reception state is deteriorated due to the influence of a building or the like in the case of radio multi-media communication. SOLUTION: For sound and picture data digitally converted in an A/D conversion part 100, a transmission medium is changed in the order of (pictures + sound) → pictures → sound by a changeover switch 101 operated by the reception states (R1-R3) sent from a reception side, encoding corresponding to them is executed in encoding parts 102-104 and transmission is performed. On the reception side, the reception state is successively transferred to a transmission side, decoding corresponding to the transmitted medium is executed and output is performed. |
