PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To immobilize an oxygen sensor by providing a platinum operation electrode, a platinum counter electrode, and a silver/silver chloride reference electrode on an alumina substrate, crosslinking and immobilizing a high water- absorbing polymer on the electrodes before being dipped into an electrolyte solution, and covering the entire part with an oxygen transmission film made of tetrafluoroetylene resin to closely adhere to it. SOLUTION: An electrolyte solution with which a high-absorptive polymer is impregnated and is sealed into a space between an electrode forming substrate and an oxygen transmission film, thus eliminating the need for especially providing, for example, a groove for housing an electrolyte solution retaining body for improving water retention force on a substrate. |
