<p>A window for installation in a vehicle includes a glazing profile (11, 21, 31, 41, 51) having a raised portion configured to centre the glazing (10, 20, 30, 40, 50) in an aperture in a vehicle body, retain the glazing in position, e.g. while a glazing adhesive (4) sets, and optionally also provide trim cover for a mounting flange (5) around the aperture. The raised portion may be in the form of a curled lip (12, 22, 32, 42) or a stepped wedge (52). The glazing profile may also include a spacing portion (14, 24, 54), a secondary sealing lip (28), or means (102, 39) for pulling the curled lip over the mounting flange. An electrical wire (103) may be provided in the space defined by the curl of the lip (12, 22, 32, 42).</p> |
