MOUNTING STRUCTURE FOR AIR CLEANING FILTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide inexpensively a mounting structure for utilizing a space formed by a curved section of an air filter in an air conditioner as a site for setting an air cleaning filter and eliminating a space of an air conditioner main body front section. SOLUTION: An upper mounting section 55 and a lower mounting section 57 for mounting an air cleaning filter frame 3 are provided on a horizontal crosspiece 51b of an air filter 5. On the other hand, the air cleaning filter frame 3 is provided with engaging pins 35 engaged respectively with the upper and lower mounting sections 55 and 57 of the air filter 5. An upper engaging pin 35 is inserted rotatably into the upper mounting section 55 of the air filter 5. The length of the up and down direction of the lower mounting section 57 of the air filter 5 is longer than that of the upper mounting section 55, by which the lower engaging pin 35 can be moved in the up and down direction in the lower mounting section 57 in compliance with the state of the air filter 5.
