Flexible probe for decropping poultry carcasses

Probe (60) for poultry decropping which is passed through carcass and neck, which during travel and rotation snags and removes membrane, crop, trachea and oesophagus inedibles, the probe comprising elongate probe body (66) flexibly structured so that when it encounters carcass obstruction it deflects to prevent damage or puncture to carcass; with extending fingers (68) flexible enough to bend against bone structure without breaking bone, the fingers having length and configuration to snag and pull away inedibles from carcass.
