Proposed is the use of mono and bis oxime esters (I), in which L<1> is an oxime group of formula (II) or (III), R<1> and R<2> being hydrogen or an organic group and Z<1> being an alkyl group, L<1> is a second oxime group L<1> or an organic group linked by an O-atom or N-atom, A is a chemical bond or a bridging group and m is 0 or 1, as activators for inorganic per-compounds, in particular cold-bleach activators or optical brighteners in washing, cleaning and bleaching agents and in disinfectants.
