<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance bonding force to an outside layer and to smoothly bend when a braid tube is assembled with the flexible tube of an endoscope. SOLUTION: A flexible tube 1 for an endoscope comprises a braid tube 20 comprising braids which are made by braiding a plurality of elemental fluxes 21 constituting a plurality of elemental wires in parallel and is formed for covering the peripheral surface of a helical tube 10, and a top surface 30 made of a synthetic resin having flexibility formed so as to further cover the outside of the covered helical tube. The number of braids (n) per an average diameter D of the braid tube 20 is arranged in a specially prescribed range when an angle of braid is 45 deg. to 65 deg., a braid density is 0.78 to 0.90 and the number of braids are 32.</p> |
