PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent destructive bursting of a pressure vessel and prevent a trouble due to extruding of a fusible alloy. SOLUTION: A safety device 50, when it exceeds any of temperature or pressure in a pressure vessel or in the periphery, is actuated, and even at a high pressure, the device resists against extrusion connected to a trouble. The safety device is provided with a main unit 52 having a fluid circulating passage 42 communicating with an inlet 54, outlet 56 and a gate. The main unit is provided further with a fluid relief passage 58 having a member 60 and a plug 62 consisting of fusible material. The member 60 is porous relating to gas and liquid but not relating to a solid. The plug 62 is fixedly positioned adjacent to the porous member 60, to be fused at a prescribed temperature. A first piston 66 is fixedly placed in the fluid circulating passage 42, to be biased in a normal condition in a seal state relating to the inlet 54. A second piston 68 is fixedly placed in the fluid relief passage 58, and compressing force is applied to the plug 62 of fusible material. |
