PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recover toner scatter from a developing device into a cleaning device. SOLUTION: The developing device 4 for developing a latent image formed on a photoreceptor 1 is provided with a developing roller 41 carrying a developer to a developing region facing the photoreceptor 1. The toner scattered from both end parts of the developing roller is electrified by an electrifying means 2 in the same way as an image forming region, to be electrostatically attracted to toner recovering regions on both ends of the image forming region of the photoreceptor 1. A cover guide constituted in such a manner that a casing 70 constituting the cleaning device 7 is extended up to the vicinity of the developing tank 40 of the developing device 41 corresponds to the toner recovering region of the photoreceptor 1, at a constant interval, to form a toner recovering space. When the photoreceptor 1 is rotated in the direction of the arrow, the air of the periphery of the photoreceptor 1 is led to the toner recovering space, so that the scattered toner is led into the recovering space with the flow of the air and electrostatically attracted to the toner recovering region, to be carried to the cleaning device 7 as it is and recovered into the cleaning device by a cleaning blade 71. |
