PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a switching power supply circuit and to improve power conversion efficiency by combining a current resonance type converter where a quadruple voltage rectification circuit and a switching element are subjected to half-bridge coupling. SOLUTION: A current path where an AC input voltage VAC is in a negative period is shown by a broken line and current is charged by a smoothing capacitor Ci1 and an AC input voltage level Ei is generated at Cii . Current in a positive period is shown by a solid line and current is charged by Ci3 . At this time, a commercial AC power supply AC which is rectified by a rectification diode D1 is charged by Ci3 via Ei of Ci1 in the previous negative period. Also, current flows a path of Ac→Ci2 (positive electrode → negative electrode) → D3 →AC and generates Ei at Ci2 . Then, when the next negative period is reached, current is shown by a broken line and is charged by Ci4 but is charged by Ci4 via Ei of Ci2 which is charged in the previous positive period, thus obtaining 2Ei at Ci4 . |
