NETWORK PATH SETTING METHOD AND DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively set a network path. SOLUTION: A state number that varies with time is generated based on the network corresponding to a communication network 1 and a network model 2 and in consideration of the node adjacency relation and the link attribute against the network nodes. Based on the change of the state number, the inter- node connections are successively and selectively set, for example, toward a node N1 from an incoming node N9. When a network path is set, such factors as the capacity, distance, delay, quality, etc., of the links and nodes are taken into consideration as the standards for selection of an optimum path.
