Axis synchronisation system for numerical machine tool control or robot

The synchronisation system has the electronic couplings between the axes engaged and each of the main axes (BLA1,ZLA2, YLA3) brought to a required velocity, with measurement of the positions of the main axes and the subsidiary axes (CFA) when the subsidiary axes reach a synchronous revs. The measured values for each sampling point are stored and a synchronisation error is determined for each subsidiary axis, subsequently compensated by a superimposed movement of the subsidiary axis.
