The roaster makes it possible to roast all foods placed in it at grill level through the action of the circulation of hot air around the food. This is on account of the existence of a deflector, located inside the body A, between the coal slide (zone 1), where combustion of the coal takes place, and the grill, thus preventing, on account of its specific form, direct radiation of the heat released by the coal embers onto the foods to be roasted placed on the grill. With this deflector, the hot air which is admitted via the lower part of the apparatus is heated by the coal embers, circulates around the deflector, and continues to rise until it reaches the bell-shaped part where there is a butterfly damper which controls, in the upper part of the bell-shaped part, the volume of hot air in circulation inside the apparatus. In this way, the hot air surrounds the foods placed on the grill which is in turn located substantially in the middle of the inner space of the body A, between the deflector and the upper part of the bell-shaped part. <IMAGE>
