The helmet has three warning lights arranged one above the other on the back of the helmet in order to increase the safety level of cyclists in road traffic. The helmet's three integral red warning lights improve sighting of the cyclist by other road users by appearing at the eye level of drivers and can be lit permanently or intermittently. The warning lights are of 5 mm. dia. and ar powered by 1.5 volt battery. The are mounted in the helmet in an insulated manner, thus posing no danger to the wearer.
