Cosmetic compsns. contg. at least one substance having skin depigmentation activity and keratolytic proteases, are new. Pref. the proteases are of plant or biotechnological origin. The compsns. contain skin lightening cpds. chosen from gluconic acid, glucosamine, calcium salt of pantothen sulphonic acid and/or a deriv. analogue or precursor of vitamin A, pref. beta -carotene. The proteases and the depigmenting substances are in the form of powder, paste, aq. dispersion, balm or oil. The proteases are used at doses of 0.1-20 units/g of cosmetic end prod. (pref. 1-10 units/g). The compsns. may be in any cosmetic from e.g. shampoos, scalp treatment prods. or make-up prods.. |
