Operation of heat and cold pumps

The process uses at least two adsorbers each with a heat exchanger surrounded by the adsorption unit, at least one heat exchanger for high temperatures, one for medium temperatures and one for low temperatures. There is a pump for the fluid which goes first to the adsorbing heat exchanger, then to the high temperatures heat exchanger, then through the desorbing heat exchanger, then to the medium temperature heat exchanger, then again to the adsorbing heat exchanger. After the depletion of the adsorption mass, the fluid flow direction is reversed for a new charging and discharging period and the adsorption/desorption temperature regimes are at least partly overlapped.
