A packaging film with a maximum sealing strength to a polypropylene (PP) film of up to 30 (preferably up to 15) N/15mm comprises (A) a mono- or multi-layer carrier of a thermoplastic polymer; and (B) a sealing layer consisting of a mixture of (B<1>) 20-60 wt.% ethylene polymer; and (B<2>) 40-80 wt.% (i) random 2/3C copolymer of C2 content 1-15 wt.%; or (ii) a mixture comprising (1) 60-98 wt.% crystalline copolymer of propylene with ethylene and/or CH2=CHR (R = 2-8C alkyl) containing 85-99.5 wt.% propylene and (2) 2-40 wt.% elastic ethylene/propylene and/or CH2=CH-R copolymer containing 20-70 wt.% ethylene; or (iii) high grade amorphous PP with crystalline PP content up to 10 wt.%, melt enthalpy at most 40 J/g and MFI 0.1-100g/10 minutes, with the PP being a homopolymer or a copolymer of at least 80 mol.% propylene with one or more alpha -olefins.
