Cooler with filter connection, especially to cool and filter vehicle oils

The cooler has no casing, and has heat-exchanger panels stacked upon one another, with sealed connections, in order to form at least two separate flow channels. The panels are arranged around at least one central vertical pipe (9) which returns the cooled and filtered oil. The panels have mainly flat, rigid upper (3) and lower (4) baseplates, which each have a collar (31,41) connected to a central opening (71) near an end of the pipe. An upper covering plate (5) seals against a filter, and forms a flow channel (52) with stampings and oil outlet slits (51), and is arranged around the pipe above the upper baseplate. A lower covering plate (6) with at least one oil inlet opening (61) is mounted around the pipe on the lower baseplate, in order to seal against the engine block. The central pipe accepts a hollow screw (14) for fastening the filter to the cooler, and the latter to the engine block.
