The exhaust gas pipes of the bend are connected to the ongoing exhaust gas pipes by means of a lamella-type flange composed of several plates. The flange has an exhaust gas through aperture for each pipe pair issuing into one another. The flange comprises a first plate fixed at the end of the exhaust gas pipes or channels of the bend, a second plate and a third plate. The rectangular plates, which are identical, are fitted tightly against one another and to the plate turned away from the first plate the ongoing exhaust pipes are connected. The second plate (2) has a breakthrough or slot (9), which connects the exhaust gas through apertures (6, 7) with one another. The third plate (3) also has a breakthrough (10) which partly covers the breakthrough or slot of the second plate when the plates are composed together.
