VIDEO STORAGE/CONVERSION METHOD AND DEVICE THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operability at a receiver side by improving a length of image reproduction time due to disturbance of a video image at start of transmission or delay in synchronization establishment to realize pause or slow reproduction in the device receiving and storing communication data including a video image and sending the data again in response to a transmission request. SOLUTION: A medium conversion processing section 1-7 eliminates undesired data being start of stored data in a reception medium storage section 1-5 and adds data for synchronization locking before the stored data. The processing is conducted without using a hardware. Thus, quick re-locking of synchronization lost by data storage is attained by a receiver side. The transmission data generated in this way are stored in a transmission medium storage section 1-9. Pause or slow reproduction is obtained from the processing result of timing able to stop a video image and realized by inserting fill bits at transmission.
