PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To contribute to the increase of a recording speed by performing recording control more accurately considering the internal temp. of the recording head. SOLUTION: At a point of time when the power supply of a recording apparatus is turned on, the sub-heater 106b of a mounted recording head 106 is driven to raise the internal temp. of the recording apparatus to predetermined time (e.g; 75 deg.C). Thereafter, the sub-heater 106b is driven until the emission of ink from a recording head 106 is not normally performed to gradually raise the temp. of the recording head and, while this temp. is detected by a temp. detection element 106a, the preparatory emission of the ink is performed. The temp. at a point of time when the ink is not normally emitted is set to normal operation limit temp. (Tmax) and, thereafter, temp. control and recording control using this temp. are performed. |
