Simple tube coupler giving sure torque transfer or release in spinning

A tube coupler for a spinning or twist machine spindle has, in the spindle upper part, at least one driving piece (7) capable of projecting against the inner wall of the tube. In the spindle upper part (1) there is at least one ring (2) which can freely rotate around the spindle long axis (6), comes within the spindle outer profile and is supplied with at least three radial apertures (5) each enclosing a freely moving driving piece. The spindle upper part is supplied with flats (9) in the region of the ring. Pref. the apertures are evenly distributed over the ring circumference and symmetrically w.r.t. a plane through the ring's central axis. The flats are distributed evenly over the circumferential surface of the spindle and symmetrically w.r.t. a plane through the spindle axis. The flats are level or concave-shaped and the greatest distance from flat to the ring's outer contour is greater than the largest dimension of the driving piece. Lying towards the spindle foot the lower part of each aperture inner face slopes downwards w.r.t. the spindle axis and the intersection of the aperture with ring outer contour is smaller than the driver piece so that it cannot pass to the exterior. The driver pieces are spheres or barrel-shaped.
