PURPOSE:To simplify the assembling and to eiminate the need for the adjustment after assembling, by making a constituting member of a pulse generating mechanism commonly usable and making the parts thereof interchangeable. CONSTITUTION:A worm gear 9 is made of a synthetic resin material mixed with magnetic powder and the circumference is alternately provided with N and S poles for magnetization. A Hall IC element 13 is provided near the worm 9. The Hall IC element 13 is driven as the worm gear 9 rotates and a pulse is generated. The position of the worm gear 9 is unchanged even if a rotary shaft 7 and a pulley 8 are variably selected and no change is required for the Hall IC element 13 and a printed board 12 driven with the worm gear 9.
