The appts. to extract moisture from yarns and filaments, esp. after washing or dyeing or bleaching and the like, has a comb (1) for individual yarn guide and liquid extraction in a band of yarns/filaments. An air blower (2) delivers compressed air jet streams at each gap between two comb teeth (3) to extract surplus fluid.
