PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect abnormality in the date and time held in a clock mechanism at the time of restart after an auxiliary power source stops functioning. SOLUTION: Concerning a medical image filing device 100 provided with a main power source 160 for supplying power to the entire device, clock mechanism 110a for measuring the date and time inside the device, auxiliary power source 170 for supplying power to the clock mechanism 110a at least when the main power source 160 stops supplying power, non-volatile memory 130 for storing the date and time for comparison, and arithmetic processor 110, the arithmetic processor 110 detects abnormality in the date and time of the clock mechanism 110a while referring to the date and time for comparison stored in the non-volatile memory 130 at the time of restart after both the main power source 160 and the auxiliary power source 170 temporarily stop supplying power. |
