Retractable lens mechanism for liquid crystal projector

The liquid crystal projector has a main housing with a retractable slide unit (2) that, when not in use, can be moved to fold away and present a smooth, top surface. The slide unit has a lens (6) projecting from a holder (3). The slide unit is pivot mounted at the rear, and has pins on the front lower edge that locate in cam track slots. The slide unit is pressed into the housing against the action of a compression coil spring. When in a fully retracted condition, a latch is engaged, and this can be released by pressing a push button (4).
