PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an antipilling agent low in processing cost and capable of conducting antipilling treatment of wool and wool-blended fibers in high reproducibility and effectively. SOLUTION: This antipilling agent essentially comprises (A) a cationic colloidal silica prepared by cationizing silica sol with alumina sol and (B) an aqueous emulsion of an organopolysiloxane composed of, as the essential constitutive unit, trifunctional siloxane unit of the formula RSiO3/2 (R is a group selected from alkyl groups, substituted alkyl groups, alkenyl groups, aryl groups and substituted aryl groups). In this antipilling agent, the weight ratio A/B is (100:5) to (5:100) when the SiO2 concentration of the component A is about 20wt.% and the nonvolatiles in the component B is about 20wt.%. |
