PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a defect of image quality by scattering of toner by controlling an attractive transfer corotron so as to perform OFF-operation later than an image exposing device, and forming a specified attractive charged area on a recording sheet attracted to a transfer drum. SOLUTION: An attractive transfer corotron(TC) 3 is controlled by a controller 74 in such a manner that it is operated for a while after the operation of a laser type image exposing device (ROS) 12 is ended, and the operation is ended thereafter. Consequently, an attractive charged area of 1.5mm or more in the sheet carrying direction is formed backward from the rear end of the image area in the rear end part of a recording sheet attracted by a transfer drum 2 by the timing difference of the OFF-operation. Thus, the recording paper is laid in the state where the rear end part is sufficiently attracted by the transfer drum 2, and since the attracted state is continuously held even in peeling, the occurrence of a defect of image quality by toner scattering in the recording sheet rear end part in peeling can be prevented. |
