COMPOSITION FOR LIGHTWEIGHT BUILDING MATERIAL AND PRODUCTION OF LIGHTWEIGHT BUILDING MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composition for a lightweight building material, excellent in workability such as nailing and sawing and fire resistance, etc., and capable of providing the lightweight building material and a provide a method for more efficiently producing the lightweight building material by using the composition according to a papermaking method. SOLUTION: This composition for a lightweight building material comprises an aqueous slurry containing (A) 100 pts.wt. cement, (B) 25-150 pts.wt. chaff ash with 2.5-7wt.% carbon content, (C) 10-40 pts.wt. fibrous material and (D) 5-15 pts.wt. homogenizing agent. The aqueous slurry is formed into a paperboard-like shape and curing and drying treatments thereof are then carried out to produce the lightweight building material.
