PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an added functional matter embedded in a card base material from being seen through from a rear face of a card so as to improve the appearance. SOLUTION: In a plastic card having an added functional matter (an IC module A) embedded in an embedding hole 5 formed in a card base material 1, a coloring layer 6 for masking is formed on the inner face of the embedding hole 5. That is, after the embedding hole 5 is formed in the card base material 1 and coloring processing for masking is done on the inner face of the embedding hole 5, the added functional matter is embedded. As the added functional matter having a thickness can be mounted by preventing it from being seen through from the rear face of the card, the appearance is not damaged. |
