PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shaft sealing device for reciprocation which stops the wear amount of a high pressure packing at a minimum limit and supplies clean pressurized fluid with the minimum number of stages of the high pressure packing and a small mounting space. SOLUTION: A shaft sealing device for reciprocation gives the inner to outer diameter ratio and rigidity to provide always the fixed elastic deformation caused radially only when jet pressure acts on the outer periphery to a high pressure packing consisting of a mechanical packing, main packing and spacer ring. Further, the deformation amount is set and the material of the main packing 2b is given according to the radius. |
