<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a fall of recording paper from a insertion table, even in the case of setting long scaled recording paper to the hand insertion table. SOLUTION: In a manual insertion paper feeder of an image recorder conveying recording paper 8 on a manual insertion table 9 to a transfer part by a pickup roller 1, by press holding the recording paper 8 on the manual insertion table before conveying by the pickup roller 1, slip falling of the recording paper from the manual insertion table 9 is prevented. Here, pressing action of the recording paper can be also automatically performed by providing a detection means detecting the recording paper placed in the manual insertion table and a pickup arm, based on this detection signal, lowering down the pickup roller pressed to the recording paper.</p> |
