The furniture comprises a body (4) having an upper panel (6), a vertical back and two opposite parallel side panels (10). The lower edges of the back and side panels form a support surface (14). The furniture has three movable drawers (16,18,20) located one above the other. Each drawer has a bottom (22), front (24) and rear (26) walls and two parallel opposite side walls (28). The drawer side walls are formed from panels which extend as far as the support surface. The lower edge of the drawer side panels are supported on rollers (44) which facilitate the sliding of the drawers. A stop, comprising a cross member fixed to the body side panels, is located at a point on the path of the drawer side panels. These side panels have slots (30) parallel to the drawer path in which the stop is engaged. |
